Lily Cheetham is an artist who works with textiles and mixed media. She comes from a long line of patchwork quilt makers and artists, this has informed a lot of her work. She often works with found materials that hold an inherent value or history.

She constructs different processes to make work that subvert the traditional use of the craft. These works are always layered with ideas/feelings and thought-provoking ideas that often tie in themes such as feminism, traditional craft and social/folk history.
